Non-magical Weapons

Buying or creating weapons

Description:

Blunt Arrows:

Acceptable for the game.

There’s a description on p. 194 of FH and a table w/ suggested costs on p. 174 of FH.

Armor Piercing Arrows:

Acceptable for the game. While not outright banned (like gunpowder), these are considered a Restricted Item by every major government’s military. The punishment for carrying AP projectiles ranges from large fines to imprisonment, depending on the region.

There’s a description on p. 194 of FH and a table w/ suggested costs on p. 174 of FH.

Fine Weapons:

We are doing away with these multipliers for the new campaign as they added to the monetary cost of each item, but the AP and RP costs were not reflected therein. It added a bit of “cheesiness” that the item creation formulas should do away with. Non-magical items may still be “poor” “normal” or “mastercrafted/superior” for purposes of trying to sell, or in the case of “mastercrafted” could be used as a base item for enchanting. For example, if you find that cool set of mastercrafted feather armor, you could enchant it since finding enough birds to make it yourself would take time and resources.

Weapon/Armor Materials:

See sidebar on p. 209 (weapons) and p. 220 (armor) of FH 6e
